Welcome to Crafty! These Seller Terms and Conditions govern your use of Crafty's Services as a seller. By listing items for sale on Crafty, you agree to these terms.

1.Listing Conditions

You may list handmade items for sale on Crafty. All items must be made or designed by you. If you work with a production partner, you must disclose that partner in your listings. You are responsible for using your own photographs—not stock photos or those used by other sellers.

2.Seller Conduct and Responsibilities

• Product Preparation: Sellers are responsible for preparing and packaging their products in accordance with Crafty’s standards and guidelines.
•  Communication with Shipping Company: Sellers must be responsive and coordinate with the shipping company to ensure that products are ready for pickup and delivery as per the agreed schedule.
•  Compliance with Laws: Sellers must comply with all local and international laws, including those related to commerce, trade, export, and import regulations.
•  Account Integrity: Sellers are responsible for maintaining the security of their accounts and the accuracy of the information provided.
• Prohibited Activities: Sellers may not engage in any activity that could be considered fraudulent, misleading, or harmful to Crafty or its customers.

3.Intellectual Property Rights

•    Respect for Intellectual Property: Sellers must ensure that their products do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

•    Originality: All products sold on Crafty must be the original work of the seller or they must have permission to sell the items from the rightful owner.

•    Reporting Infringement: If a seller believes that their intellectual property rights have been violated, they should report the issue to Crafty for investigation.

•    Take-Down Procedure: Crafty reserves the right to remove listings that are alleged to be infringing on intellectual property rights.

4.Financial Terms

As a seller on Crafty, you agree to the following financial terms:

Commission Fee: You will be charged a commission fee of 10% on each sale you make.

Payment Transaction Fees: In addition to the commission fee, payment transaction fees will be applied to each sale. These fees will be a minimum of 2.25% + AED 0.50 and a maximum of 2.45% + AED 1.00.

Payment Processing: Sellers will receive payment for their sales, minus the applicable commission and transaction fees, within 30 days after the sale is confirmed , period might change incase of refund or other dispute 

Modifications: Crafty reserves the right to modify any financial terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Services.

5.Shipping Costs

Sellers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with delivering items to buyers. These costs may vary based on the dimensions of the items and the geographical location of the buyer, both within and outside the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Crafty may update shipping cost policies to reflect changes in shipping rates or methods.

6.Taxes

In addition to the commission, sellers are responsible for the payment of any value-added tax (VAT) or other taxes that may apply to the sale of items. Crafty may also implement additional tax obligations as required by government regulations in the future.

7.Return Policy

You must clearly define your return policy, incase of declaring a product to be returnable you will accept the crafty return policy witch currently gives the right to the Buyier to return ( returnable ) products in a 15 days period no questions asked

8.Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a buyer and seller, Crafty will facilitate resolution in accordance with our policies. We aim to ensure fair and satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.

9.Indemnification

By listing items on Crafty, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crafty from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Seller Terms and Conditions or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

10. Privacy

Crafty is committed to protecting the privacy of its sellers. The information collected is used to facilitate the services provided by Crafty and improve the user experience.

11. Account Termination 

Crafty reserves the right to terminate your account and access to the Services for reasons including but not limited to breach of these terms, illegal activity, or conduct that harms other users or Crafty’s interests.

12. Changes to Terms

Crafty may update these Seller Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on our Services. Your continued use of Crafty's Services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

13.Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
