1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Crafty website or mobile application ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use Crafty.
2. About Crafty
Crafty is an online marketplace based in the UAE that connects buyers and independent sellers of handcrafted and custom-made products. We provide the platform, but do not manufacture or guarantee the quality of third-party seller products.
3. User Accounts
Users must create an account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate and current information and are responsible for all activities under your account. Crafty may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations.
4. Marketplace & Seller Policies
Crafty is a venue where sellers list and sell products directly to buyers.
Sellers agree to:
- Accurately describe items and prices
- Fulfill orders promptly
- Handle customer service professionally
- Comply with local laws
Buyers agree to:
- Read descriptions before purchasing
- Provide accurate shipping info
- Contact sellers for order issues first
Crafty may assist with disputes but is not obligated to intervene in every case.
5. Payments & Fees
- Payments are processed securely via Telr.
- 7% commission fee per sale (subject to change with notice).
- Payouts issued twice per month.
- Minimum payout: AED 500. Balances under this threshold will be deferred.
- Fee changes will be communicated via email or dashboard.
6. Shipping & Returns
Shipping is managed through our partner OtO. Sellers must use Crafty’s system and comply with our Return & Refund Policy. Original shipping costs are covered by sellers if the item is returned. Return shipping is covered by Crafty. Personalized items are only returnable if defective.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Violating laws or third-party rights
- Selling counterfeit or unsafe items
- Harassing or spamming users
- Uploading malicious or false content
Crafty may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in such activities.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform is the property of Crafty or licensors. Unauthorized use, copying, or modification is prohibited without written consent.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Crafty provides the Platform “as is” without warranties. We are not responsible for product issues, seller conduct, or delays. Crafty is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
10. Suspension or Termination
Crafty may suspend or terminate access for violations, fraud, or harmful behavior. You can delete your account anytime by contacting support.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by UAE laws. Disputes will be resolved under UAE court jurisdiction.
12. Updates to These Terms
Terms may be updated at any time. Changes are effective upon posting. Continued use signifies acceptance of updated terms.
